Saw Pierce Your Own Pendant - Video Tutorial
Ever wanted to learn saw piercing from the comfort of your own home? Maybe you've already dabbled but you want a design template to practice with and a little guidance to make sure your technique is just right. Whether you've never picked up a saw frame before or you want to revisit the basics, this how to make a saw pierced pendant video tutorial will set you up to be cutting the smoothest lines in no time!
The 26 minute video walks you through every step of cutting out the pendant from applying the design to metal, drilling, the best techniques for sawing to finishing.
You will also receive 2 different pendant design patterns you can download and print plus a simple practice exercise which is great for beginners to get started but also helpful if you just want to get your eye in.
Making time: approximately an hour for beginners
You will need:
*Metal sheet at least 4 x 4cm, thickness of 0.6 - 0.8mm (I recommend brass or copper if you're new to saw piercing)
*A fine chain to match your metal
*Saw frame
*Saw blades (I recommend 6/0 or 7/0)
*Bench peg
*Drill and drill bit (no larger than 1mm)
*Fine sandpaper (1200 or 1500)
