Gilded Crypt - Silver & Enamel Locket Necklace

Opulent in style and rich in jewel colour, this Gothic crypt keeps secrets as well as the grave.
Designed as a keepsake or heirloom, this lockable silver locket necklace is also ideal as an engagement gift. As the key is removable, you can put a secret message inside and gift the key at a later date (the wedding perhaps?) or never as the case may be.

Hand pierced and engraved from sterling silver, the locket measures 42 x 24mm with a 18 x 13 x 0.7mm cavity inside for a small note or picture. The 13mm long key is on a removable chain which attaches to the clasp of the 45cm silver chain and dangles down the back.
The enamel is available in 4 different colours (blood red, royal purple, electric blue or emerald green) or if you'd prefer no colour you can have oxidised silver for contrast instead.

To open the locket simply turn the key about 45 degrees anticlockwise then lift the flap at the back. To close it, hold the flap closed and turn the key clockwise back to the upright position (note: the key stays in the lock while the locket is open).
