Welcome to Skadi Jewellery Design! It’s important to me that you enjoy the buying experience as much as you love the piece itself so have a read through the policies and if you have any questions I’m more than happy to answer them. Custom requests are also most welcome, just contact me through the custom request form to discuss any ideas you have.
To ensure the best buying experience please be sure of sizing before you make a purchase (I can resize most of my pieces for a custom fit so please contact me if you are unsure).

Payment

PayPal or Square are the preferred methods of payment. Products will not be shipped until payment is received. Paypal also offers a buy now, pay later option.
Direct deposit within Australia is available. Please contact me before making a purchase if you would prefer this option.

All prices are in Australian Dollars. If making a purchase internationally, Paypal / Square will show you the conversion rate before you finalise your payment. 

Refunds and Exchanges

Refunds are available for faulty products. Contact me to organise the return of the item and a replacement or refund.
If you simply change your mind, a refund is available for most items if they’re still in their original condition unless they are personalised specifically for you (for example with a monogram or name. If you’re unsure if this applies to the item you’re interested in simply contact me before purchasing). Change of mind refunds will require you to send back the item at your own expense.
Please be sure to double check any measurements / colours / custom details before purchasing an item as most pieces are made to order. This is just a one person show so your consideration is appreciated! Any questions are always welcome.

I want you to have the best fitting piece of jewellery possible so exchanges are available if there is no damage to the piece. Some of my pieces can’t be made in different sizes so if you’re not sure about the fit of a piece or you think it likely that you may have to exchange it for a different size or colour please contact me before purchase.

Sales, Discount codes and Gift Cards

Rather than having endless sales I like to keep things simple, fair and stress free for my customers by having my prices at the actual value of the piece to begin with. That’s not to say I won’t have a rare sale, but it will generally be for older designs no longer available making way for the new or one off experiments.

I prefer to show my appreciation to returning customers with discount codes, special offers on custom work and the occasional treat.
If you have a discount code simply enter it at the checkout to have your discount applied. And thank you for coming back 🙂

Gift cards are available in the values of $50, $100 and $200. If you need a custom amount contact me for a custom listing. The gift card comes in an email but if you would prefer a physical card gift wrapped to impress I can post one to you on request, simply make a note at checkout.

Rings
If you don’t have a ring sizer, wrap a measuring tape around your finger at the same tightness that you would wear a ring. Every millimetre counts so try to be as accurate as possible! If you don’t have a measuring tape simply use a strip of paper, mark where the end meets the strip then measure that with a ruler to find out the circumference. Helpful hint: try to do the measurement when your hands are a comfortable temperature as your fingers will shrink when they’re cold and expand when they’re hot.

Bracelets
Simply measure the circumference of your wrist with a measuring tape. I will add 1-2 cm to the length of the bracelet for a comfortable fit.

If you’re buying a gift and you’re not completely confident about the required size simply contact me to discuss options, I can make some pieces adjustable.

Care Instructions

Wearing metal in salt water is not recommended but if it does happen simply rinse thoroughly in fresh water immediately.
The shine can be maintained with a silver polishing cloth (which comes complementary with every silver order!).
When storing silver, it will avoid tarnishing longer if you keep it somewhere out of the light and open air.
